Colorado Springs Utilities is partnering with Recharge Colorado to deliver cash incentives to its residential customers that invest in energy efficient products and services.

Colorado Springs Utilities is offering the following rebates in 2012.  To apply and learn more, click on the rebate you are interested in from the list below.

• ENERGY STAR® Appliances:
• Dishwashers - $50
• Refrigerators - $50 (plus $50 recycling bonus if recycled through an authorized recycler)
• High-Efficiency Gas Water Heaters- $50
• High Efficiency Gas Furnaces - $250
• High Efficiency Gas Boilers - $250

• Residential Retrofits:
• Insulation and Air Sealing – 40% of job cost, up to $200
• Duct Sealing – 40% of job cost, up to $100

• Renewable Energy Investments:
• Residential
• Solar Hot Water (gas or electric back-up) - $1,500 or $3,000 depending on system size
• Small Wind -  $1.25/watt, up to 3kW up to $3,750
• Commercial
• Solar Thermal application (gas or electric back-up) - 30% of the job cost, up to $15,000
• Small Wind - $1.25/watt up to 10kW up to $12,500
